Home Library Challenge

Senior Library

Circular No. - 22                                                                                        Wednesday, 27 October 2021

Dear All

Greetings!

Books can be our best friends in the times we are in. The students may utilize their time by exploring the realm of good books. Reading books will not only give knowledge and ideas to the students but will also enhance their imagination, critical thinking, language skills, and concentration. In continuation to promote reading habits among students the library faculty is launching ‘Home Library Challenge’.

Your home library may have a set of books kept neatly in a corner of your room. The number of books doesn’t matter. Let the world know about your Home Library. Add a photograph or video of your Home Library with you in the frame. If you do not have a home library as yet you are requested to create one by the 30 November 2021.

How to Participate?

Simply take a photo or video of yourself in your home library and upload that here on this padlet.

Drop Everything And Read (DEAR) 2021

The entire students and staff members of the school will devote themselves to read a book or anything of their interest by dropping all their routine works or activities during the fixed time.

The students of Montessori classes cannot read properly, the teachers can narrate the stories to make them aware of the importance of reading.

During the class teacher period, the entire school will become a big virtual reading room. Students and teachers can share the review of any book or can hold a book talk in the class.

Drop Everything And Read (DEAR) will be conducted every Saturday by making the whole school reading.

Timing: - Class Teacher Period
